This was the message that I received today from Dan Borg who just competed in the 2014 Hobie Mid-Winters East, at Ocean Springs Yacht Club in Mississippi.
If it had come via Skype I’m sure that I would have seen a big grin on his face; despite a DNF, he finished first in a competitive fleet of 13 Hobies.

A quick glance at the home towns of the participants would indicate that Dan was the only Canadian at the event.
