Thanks to everyone who helped in this year’s mast stepping effort.
The place is looking more and more like a yacht club again, with all those masts up!
Once again, we had a safe and incident-free mast stepping, thanks to your hard work and expertise.
- I would especially like to thank Tim Sippel for his skill on the crane, and for working all 5 weekend days.
- Likewise to Dave McKee, who also worked the 5 days and choreographed the moving of masts from trees to saw horses and finally to the crane. How does he know everybody’s mast?? He’s a powerboat guy!
- Thanks also to Lina and Sandy and the rest of the kitchen crew for keeping us fed and watered and caffeinated.
I can tell you that your work does not go unnoticed by the members.
There have been plenty of compliments on how well things went this year. Congratulations to everyone.
Time to bend on some sails and hit the water! Have a great season everyone!
