Another sailing adventure is in the works for 2015…
in the warm waters of the Mediterranean.
Bareboat Charter, 6 Weeks, September 12 To October 24, 2015
Sorrento, Napoli, Coast Of Italy, Down To Malta.
After circumnavigating Sicily, the journey will likely head to Malta and Gozo, North to Stretto di Messina, Tropea, Amantea, C. Di Bonifati, Camerota, Amalfi coast, Salermo, Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Napol and back to Portorosa, Sicily.
Final itinerary will be worked out with crew input.
The crew change can be 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 weeks. Paul will stay with the boat 6 weeks.
The aim is to have no overnight sailing and out of 40 days, 10 days could be at anchor with 30 days in Ports.
As we’ll have up to 8 crew, those without sailing experience can be accommodated.
Paul picked a Bavaria 51 (5 Cabins, 3 Heads with showers) for cost estimate but there are other boats, from other ports, that would not be much different in cost.
At this stage, crew input as to boat selection is welcome.
The 6 week charter, including fuel, outboard/dinghy, linen, towels, port charges, water, power, would cost about 20,500 euro.
A very good cost, in comparison to other charters.
NOT included : Transportation, Food, drinks, eating out.
The weekly p/p cost would vary depending on the number of people on board but based on 8=427, 7=488, 6=569 euro.
