Racing Forum/Town Hall – March 25

The Racing Forum/Town Hall meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 25th!

The Racing Forum/Town Hall is Tuesday, March 4th, 7pm-9pm

Hello Members,

I would like to invite anyone who is racing or interested in racing this season to attend our Racing Forum/Town Hall meeting.
Whether you are a long time racer, new to racing or would like to volunteer on race nights helping the race committee.
Everyone is encouraged to attend. The meeting is Tuesday March 4th and will start at 7pm.
The bar will be open from 6:30pm to 10 pm.

Some items to be discussed:

• The decline of participation and try to find out why and what can be done to increase it again.
• The possibility of adding a cruising fleet.
• What to do about the dinners on race nights to make it worth the caterer’s time.
• The WHIS series that will be our Thursday Night racing.
• Changes in the SI’s that I know everyone reads each year.
• The weekend races, Puffin Cup / Island Pursuit race, Single Handed Race, Double Handed Race, and the Night Race.
• Anyone who has an idea to help make racing better.
• EYC’s regatta – Is there enough interest for a PHRF fleet?

This is everyone’s chance to help make racing at EYC something to be proud of.
